Kane County Hospital’s remodel project is moving right along. While construction appeared to be on hold during our wet winter weather, work progressed throughout the facility. Since we have had a several days of good weather, the building is starting to take shape. The construction crews have been courteous and considerate, the staff has settled into new routes and new work locations, we definitely are learning to go with the flow. Our emergency response teams have done a remarkable job continuing to respond to the needs of our patients through their new temporary access.
KCH would like to thank all of our patients and the community as a whole for taking the inconveniences in stride. It has been confusing, new, and at times a little stressful, but we are going to shine when the project is completed.
