Hey there, folks! We’ve got some exciting news to share that’s sure to brighten up your day. Kane County Hospital is rolling out the red carpet for some of our very own local artists, and you’re invited to the show!
From now until the end of June, our lobby will be transformed into a vibrant gallery, showcasing the incredible talent right here in our community. It’s a chance to soak in the beauty, creativity, and pure joy that comes from these amazing artists and their work.
First up, we’ve got Holly Godwin, whose colorful paintings on canvas and wood are like a burst of sunshine on a cloudy day. And then there’s Meg, the crochet queen, whose twisted stitches will leave you in awe of her textile wizardry.
If photography is more your style, you won’t want to miss Martin Freely’s stunning snapshots that capture the heart and soul of our hometown. And Loretta Clayson? Well, her paintings will transport you straight to the rugged beauty of the West with every brushstroke.
But wait, there’s more! Erica Berg is bringing the wow factor with her pet portraits and micro photos of insects. It’s a fascinating blend of the cuddly and the creepy crawly that you have to see to believe!
