KCH Residents and their new ride

  • Dec 8, 2016

Kane County Hospital skilled nursing residents and staff are enjoying their new ride. An anonymous benefactor in our community gifted a new van this past summer. The residents love it!

“The Tall Boy”, an affectionate name the donner requested, is outfitted with all of the necessary bells and whistles needed to keep our residents safe and secure while they travel. They have enjoyed outings not only within the community itself but are able to take trips to surrounding points of interest such as; Pipe Springs National Monument, Duck Creek to see the fall colors, Jacob Lake and Cedar Breaks.

The residents also appreciate being able to go to the Thrift Store or take in a movie or have a front row seat for parades. They frequently express their gratitude to the kind hearted benefactor who provided their classy ride.

All of us at Kane County Hospital would like to add our thank you for your kindness and consideration. It has brought and will continue to bring smiles to the hearts and faces of our residents.
