Kane County Hospital’s Therapeutic Recreational Technician, TRT, Brandi Hamm, plans some pretty special outings for our long-term care residents. This past week she arranged for our residents to go to Kanab’s Heritage House.

Emily Bently, the new director of the Heritage House, welcomed the residents and delighted them with her knowledge and warm personality. Emily brought the history of the Heritage House to life, dressed in period accurate clothing and making it a truly remarkable experience for her guests. Von Del and Brent Chamberlain took a special interest to learn more about their personal history and even offer up a comment or two. (The Heritage House, 115 S. Main Street in Kanab, is open from noon to 7pm Monday through Wednesday and 11:30 am to 7:30 pm Thursday through Saturday.)

KCH residents want to offer up their personal thank you to Emily and Kanab City for helping make another day so special.
